The GPAM was inspired by Geraldine Petrosino, an avid supporter of the arts which includes the areas of film, music and sports.  The Geraldine Petrosino All Media Film Festival is named in her honor.  Mrs. Petrosino married Dr. Albert Petrosino in 1954 and began her a career as a homemaker, mother, and community volunteer from Girl Scout Leader, to Church Volunteer to Volunteer Coordinator at St. Luke’s Hospital in New York.  She is the mother of six children, and grandmother of seven grandchildren.  Active at home and in the community for over 40 years Mrs. Petrosino is now a courageous voice promoting research for Olivopontocerebellar Degeneration (OPCA).
